In order to maintain a flow of water into the bore, the pumps need to be extracted every 18 months and the bores cleared using a high-pressure wash. Flexibore^® assisted in making the servicing easy due to the fact that the pumps can be pulled out from 247m deep in less than 3 hours. There are no sections of pipe to unscrew as the hose is made in one continuous length.
